Branded documents his and others’ graffiti art photographically, in media from high-end 35mm film to a crappy camera phone, but he doesn’t consider himself a photographer, or even, for that matter, a graffiti artist: these are both means to the end of communicating something else. The spirituality of soullessness – the search to create meaning or truth in a world lacking in both – or simply the drudgery and drugs and people and partying with which we fill our lives in order to avoid it.
